At Maskinfabrikken JST, tailor-made solutions are part of everyday life. Recently, we delivered a custom-built bucket to a construction company in Iceland. The bucket, which is designed to handle the demanding working conditions in Iceland, is the result of close collaboration between JST and the customer.
Designed for demanding tasks
The large bucket is made of Hardox steel, a material known for its extreme durability. With a blade thickness of 6 centimeters, the bucket is designed to withstand the rough terrain in Iceland. As Karsten from JST explains, the bucket is also reinforced at the bottom and constructed to handle a larger volume than traditional buckets.
-The bucket is designed to handle a larger volume, and it is not as long as traditional buckets usually are, Karsten explains in the video.
Tailored to the customer’s specifications
A key part of the bucket’s design is the customized S-attachment, which makes it easy for the customer to mount the bucket onto their machines. This attachment has been developed specifically for the customer’s needs but can be adjusted and customized for other specifications if required.
-If you would like to have a bucket made according to your own specifications, feel free to contact us, Karsten says in conclusion.
A robust choice for future projects
The custom-built bucket is now in operation in Iceland, where it is designed to withstand the extreme conditions faced by the country’s contractors. The robust construction and technical adjustments make the bucket an ideal choice for similar projects in the future.
